ACCESS COMMITTEE

Enhance access to behavioral health resources in our community.

ADVOCACY COMMITTEE

Monitor and influence legislative issues and priorities in support of an improved behavioral healthcare system for the people of Tarrant County.

COMMUNICATIONS / SOCIAL MEDIA

Coordinate with Partner agencies ways to connect & Coordinate stories, news or information to membership and the public through social media.

CULTURAL CONNECTION COMMITTEE

Determine strategic immediate and long-term goals for cultural and linguistic competency.

ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Improve communications and networking among and between Mental Health Connection member agencies, key stakeholders, and our community.

GRANTS COMMITTEE

Collaboratively identify and research funding opportunities in support of an improved behavioral healthcare system.  Committee membership restricted to dues-paying MHC members only.

RESILIENCY/TRAUMA-INFORMED-CARE STEERING COMMITTEE

Determine and implement strategies to create a resilient, trauma-informed community.

SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS

Bring together diverse group of school staff, medical & mental health providers to discuss how to best address mental health needs of Tarrant County students

TARRANT CARES GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE

Provide oversight of Tarrant County’s network of care website.

TBRI PILOT STEERING COMMITTEE

Manage TBRI Pilot in collaboration with TCU's Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development.

WORKFORCE COMMITTEE

Build a culturally competent, high-quality behavioral healthcare workforce in our community.

Committees comprised of mental health advocates, professionals, family members & other individuals with special skills are established annually to work toward our goals.
