Paving the Way, a four-year grant program funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Services Administration, provides services to youth between 16 – 21 years old who have a mental health diagnosis and reside in rural counties surrounding Tarrant county. The Paving the Way grant is administered by MHMR of Tarrant County and governed by Mental Health Connection to ensure services and other programs are culturally competent, strengths-based, youth and family guided, evidence supported, and community based.
Helping youth and young adults between 16 and 21 move from the child to the adult mental health systems.
